Cleaning Is All We Do
Gutter Revival WA was set up to do one thing properly: clean the outside of buildings. We are the sister business to Roof Revival WA, which handles roofing repair and restoration. Keeping the two separate is deliberate.
When a cleaning company also sells repairs, there is always an incentive to find something wrong up there. We do not have that incentive. If we clean your roof and spot a cracked tile or failing pointing, we photograph it and send it to you — and then you decide what to do about it, with no sales pitch attached.
The flip side is that we know what we are looking at. Working alongside a roofing business means we recognise a genuine problem from a cosmetic one, and we can tell you which is which honestly.
How We Work
Technique over force
A pressure washer is the right tool for concrete and the wrong tool for a roof, render, decking or limestone. We carry both pressure and soft-wash equipment and pick per surface. Nearly all the exterior damage we get called out to was caused by someone using pressure where they should not have.
Finish the whole job
Clearing gutters without flushing the downpipes is not a finished job. Cleaning paving without re-sanding the joints leaves the pavers loose. We would rather do fewer jobs properly than more jobs halfway.
Say what we find
If your roof is asbestos-cement, we will decline the work and tell you why. If your efflorescence is likely to come back, we will say so before you pay us. Honest expectations are worth more than an easy sale.
Leave it tidy
Debris gets bagged and taken with us, not flicked into the garden beds or washed down the stormwater. Furniture goes back where it was. The site should look better than when we arrived, not just cleaner in one spot.
Insurance and Safety
We carry public liability insurance and can provide a certificate of currency before any job — commercial or residential. Working at height is the most dangerous part of what we do, and we work to safe working-at-height practice rather than improvising with a ladder and optimism.
That occasionally means declining work. Roofs too brittle to walk, arrays on pitches that are not safe to access, asbestos-cement sheeting that should not be disturbed at all. We will tell you plainly rather than take the money and take the risk.
